In the vibrant backdrop of 1990s India, college student Sameer Seth began a journey that would go on to shape how Indian telecom infrastructure was built and supplied.

He spotted a clear opportunity: India needed high-quality, reliable, domestically made telecom products—not “good enough” imports or inconsistent local alternatives. During his student years, he founded Pentagonn Co. with the brand "Pentagonn" (earlier known as Pentagonn India) using his small savings and two personal promises.

Promise one: He would never spend a single man-hour on a substandard product—Pentagonn would deliver best-in-class quality and presentation, built for a top customer experience.
Promise two: If Pentagonn could build the best quality in India, then India’s top customers should be Pentagonn’s customers, no matter how much effort it took to win their trust.

These two commitments—quality and customer security—turned Sameer’s idea into serious business. Working closely with local manufacturers, he helped create products engineered for Indian telecom conditions and real deployment realities.

Over time, Pentagonn earned a reputation for reliability and execution, supplying solutions across a wide footprint—supporting organizations such as TATA, Nokia, Airtel, Reliance, Huawei, ZTE, Ericsson, and critical institutions including Defence, Railways, Metros, Hospitals, Airports, Steel Plants, along with strong networks of wholesalers and retailers across India and overseas.

For Sameer, this mission was never just business. It was personal: reduce dependence on imports, build pride in Indian manufacturing, and create sustainable employment through real capability. And while Sameer Seth and Pentagonn may not be the biggest names in the industry, their story proves something deeper: a small, disciplined, trust-built journey—run with hard work, consistency, and a “no safety net” mindset, without exit plans and without shortcuts.

Sameer still holds entire 100% equity in his teenage dream company and is planning to hand it over to the next generation with grace not as a transaction, but as a legacy. In the end, Sameer Seth’s story stands as proof that obsession with quality / long-term trust / Indian manufacturing can build not only a company, but a legacy.
